About

About My Craft I am a dedicated crochet and textile artist who hand-creates unique wearable and functional pieces. My work blends traditional crochet techniques with modern African-inspired colour stories, producing items that feel both nostalgic and fresh. Materials I work mainly with high-quality yarns, including acrylics, cotton blends, and specialty threads with texture or shimmer. I also combine crochet with fabric, interfacing, and structured elements to create durable bags, bucket hats, accessories, and home pieces. Every material is carefully selected for strength, comfort, and colour harmony. My Story My craft is a living expression of growth, healing, and identity. I began crocheting as a personal journey, but it evolved into a brand that carries my hands, patience, and energy in every stitch. Through Lunicreatives, I document my process, share my skills, and build a pathway for future creatives who will learn from what I’m establishing today. Technique I use a blend of free-hand crochet, pattern building, colour-blocking, and intentional shaping. My pieces are created stitch by stitch without machines, allowing each item to develop its own character. I continuously refine my methods for structure, durability, and uniqueness — from double-yarn techniques to reinforced forms and intricate detailing.
